1. This website is for grown-ups

Our videos are made for children aged 2–7. This website is written for the grown-ups who choose what those children watch. We do not offer accounts, logins, games or any other feature designed for children to use here. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please email us at hello@pacavillepals.com and we will delete it.

  1. What we collect

Information you give us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. We use it to reply to you and nothing else. Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our host records basic technical information when a page loads — the pages visited, roughly which country the visit came from, the type of browser and device, and the site you arrived from. This is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.

  1. How we keep it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, and we limit access to the people who actually need it. We also collect as little as possible in the first place, which is the best protection of all.

  1. How long we keep it

We keep information only as long as we have a reason to, and you can ask us to delete anything you have sent us at any time. Aggregated technical information about site visits is kept in summary form and is not tied to any individual.

  1. Other companies involved

Some parts of this site are provided by other companies, and their own privacy policies apply to what they do: Framer hosts this website. YouTube (Google) provides the embedded video players and our channel. Watching a video may set cookies from YouTube. Shopify runs our shop. If you buy something, Shopify and its payment providers handle your order and payment details — we never see or store your card information. Instagram and YouTube links take you to those platforms, where their terms apply. We would encourage you to read their policies if you would like to know more about what they do.

  1. Links to other places

Our site links out to YouTube, Instagram and our shop. Once you follow one of those links you are on someone else’s platform, governed by their privacy practices rather than ours. We are not responsible for what those platforms do with information you give them, and we would encourage you to read their policies before sharing anything personal.

  1. Cookies

A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device. This site uses only what is needed to make pages work and to understand roughly how many people visit. Embedded YouTube videos and the Shopify shop may set their own cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work properly if you do.

  1. Your choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to object to how we use it. We are happy to help with any of these — just email hello@pacavillepals.com and we will respond as quickly as we can. We may need to check who you are before acting on a request, simply to make sure we are not giving someone else’s information away. If you are in California, you have specific rights under the CCPA, including the right to know and the right to delete. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.

  1. Children’s privacy and our YouTube channel

Our YouTube childrens content is labelled Made for Kids. That designation is set by us and enforced by YouTube: it turns off personalised advertising, comments, notifications and several other features on those videos. YouTube’s own privacy practices govern what happens on their platform, and we would recommend reading them, along with using YouTube Kids or supervised accounts if your child watches independently.

If we change how any of this works — for example when we start a mailing list — we will update this page and change the date at the top.
