How we make it

We use AI tools to animate and compose. We're open about that. What they don't do is decide anything, every story gets checked against who these characters are, and most of what comes back doesn't survive. We're very picky. The Pals aren't invented; they're real animals we know, and no tool gave us those.

Fleece, Facts, and Humming

Everybody knows a cow. Everybody knows a sheep. Ask most people about an alpaca and you'll get a llama, a camel, or a shrug. We'd like to change that — because they're some of the gentlest, funniest, most surprising animals you'll ever meet.

They’ve been domesticated for thousands of years. Alpacas and llamas were bred in the Andes long before most familiar farm animals reached the Americas. Andean communities still raise them today.

Two coats, two types. Huacaya fleece grows outward and fluffy. Suri fleece hangs in long silky locks that swing when they walk.

They hum. It’s how they talk to each other — contentment, curiosity, mild concern, all in the same soft note.

They have fleece, not wool. Alpaca fleece has no lanolin, which is why some people who react to sheep’s wool get along fine with alpaca.

A baby is a cria. They arrive around fifteen to twenty pounds and are usually up and walking within the hour.

Llamas are the bigger cousins. Longer faces, banana-curved ears, and bred to carry loads — and on many farms, to guard smaller animals. That’s Bella’s real job.

Who we support

A share of what we make goes to two organizations we believe in. One caring for the Andean families who have raised these animals for thousands of years. One dedicated to the rehabilitation and lifelong care of these animals, mostly seniors, in need.
